Successfully cooperated with Mitel brand on bluetooth headphone project
Client Background
Project name: 552035 3.7V 350mAh lipo battery are used in Mitel 6940 IP phone and spare bluetooth headset.
We started to contact with Mitel on Nov. 22th, 2014. They sent us an inquiry about 3.7V 350mAh-450mAh lithium polymer battery used in their developing bluetooth headset project.
Cooperation Details
The battery need to be with UL and IEC62133 certificate approval, and the size should be within T = 6.2mm (max), W = 22mm (max), H = 41mm (can be longer if needed) . As per their requirements, we suggest our ready UL1642 cell model 552035 3.7V 350mAh, which will save much UL1642 certificate fee for our customer. Mitel accept our suggestion, but they also need the battery pack with UL2054 certificate.
According to our cooperation experience with Philips over 5 years and international common practice, lipo battery doesn’t need to make UL2054 certificate as it’s just a part of finished products for US market if the cell has UL1642 approved. We advised them that this certificate is not necessary, but they still insist on making UL2054 certificate for 552035 3.7V 350mAh lipo battery pack, even though the high expensive certificate fee of UL2054.
Outcome & Value
During the past 2 years, we continued to provide several battery samples for Mitel to develop their IP phone and bluetooth headset project. They tested our battery samples and satisfied with our battery quality. But they suspend this project about 1 year.
In November 2015, they re-started the project and we received our vendor number: 148688. Then we arranged another battery samples for their final design. At the begining of 2016, they paid the certificate fees and request us to make the following battery certificates, like UL2054, IEC62133, ROHS, REACH, UN38.3 etc. UL2054 testing is very strictly and request battery with high quality. It took about half past 2 month to finish UL2054 certificate. After all certificates finished, Mitel start their trial production in July, 2016. In August, they recommend their partner Flextronics to us, and we also become Flextronics Supplier in China (our Flextronics BP Code: SPS03130U).
Even though it’s long time for developing a new project, but we have confidence for our clients and do our best to offer a good service and best solution for them.

Project name : 552035 3.7v 350mAh lithium polymer battery used in Flex Bluetooth bluetooth handset .Detailed introduction : We got an inquiry from Flex International Ltd which is a leading company in Electronic Manufacturing Service in global market .
Cooperation Details
After communication , we got to know that it was our regular customer Mitel introduced our company to them . Flex was going to promote their latest bluetooth handset to global market and they needed 552035 3.7V 350mAh handset bluetooth battery.They were very glad to know that our 552035 lithium polymer battery has UL2054 and CB certificates . They asked several samples for testing . A few days later , they told us that they were very satisfied with the quality of our samples and they decided to cooperated with our company for this project.

IP Phone Collaboration - AS552035 3.7V 350mAh
Client Background
Our collaboration with Mitel dates back many years. At that time, the customer contacted us seeking a custom battery for their new IP phone, intended as a backup power source. They also desired to enhance the device’s portability and flexibility to meet diverse user scenarios.
Solution
We understood that stability and safety were crucial for a backup power source. Through in-depth discussions with the customer’s team, we recommended our certified model, the AS552035 3.7V 350mAh battery.Importantly, we equipped it with a PTC self-resetting fuse function, providing additional protection against overcurrent and short circuits, thereby adding an extra layer of safety for the device.

After undergoing multiple tests, Mitel ultimately selected our battery. This battery continues to operate reliably in several of their IP phone models, consistently providing backup power support. Simultaneously, the battery’s certifications have been continuously enhanced and now include UL2054, CB, UN38.3, WERCS, and CE, ensuring compliance and facilitating market entry globally.
This successful collaboration with Mitel not only strengthened our long-term partnership but also significantly boosted the expansion of our business. It laid the foundation for our subsequent successful partnerships with other renowned companies like Flex and Wistron.

Performance
1 Standard Test Conditions
Test should be conducted with new batteries within one month after shipment from our factory and the cells shall not be cycled more than five times before the test. Unless otherwise defined, test and measurement shall be done under temperature of 25±2℃ and relative humidity of 45~85%. The test results are not affected evidently by such conditions of temperature 15~30℃ or humidity 25~85%RH.5.2 Measuring Instrument or Apparatus.
