The operating temperature range of lithium batteries is generally known as the absolute temperature range, the common absolute temperature range is -20 ° C ~60 ° C, of which the lowest temperature of -20 ° C is the lowest usable temperature of the battery, the highest temperature of 60 ° C is the highest temperature that the battery can withstand, beyond this range will damage the battery. 

The most ideal operating temperature of lithium batteries is 0 ° C ~ 45 ° C, and the battery discharge in this range can achieve excellent results. High temperature has a negative effect on the battery, higher than 60℃ will accelerate the aging of the battery, the principle is in the traction tank storage process history of chlorine collection.(SEI) history! And the organic material based on it will hydrolysate: produce a large amount of hydrogen: damage the performance of the battery. 
Similarly, low temperature will also harm the reliability of the battery, less than -10 ° C will lead to battery performance damage, resulting in poor charge and discharge performance, capacity loss will become larger and larger, but also damage the structure of the battery. In addition, the low temperature environment will also make the electrolyte solidify, affecting the charging of air power. 

Therefore, when operating lithium batteries, it is strictly necessary to follow the operating temperature between -20 ° C and 60 ° C, and the optimal operating temperature of the battery is between 0 ° C and 45 ° C. In order to avoid the negative impact of high and low temperatures on battery performance, it is also necessary to pay attention not to apply external pressure and vibration to the battery, otherwise it will affect the service life of the battery.
