Client Background
In 2018, we received an inquiry from Starkey, a well-known American hearing product brand. They were seeking a high-performance, ultra-thin, and safe battery for a new type of hearing aid. They had specific requirements for capacity and dimensions, and, as a medical product, the safety standards were extremely stringent.
Solution
Facing this challenge, we quickly assembled a dedicated team to develop a custom ultra-thin battery solution for them. After multiple rounds of technical collaboration and parameter adjustments, we successfully finalized and began mass production of a custom battery model: 303080, 3.7V 850mAh. To ensure compliance with medical-grade safety requirements, we not only strictly controlled production quality but also assisted in applying for multiple international authoritative certifications, including UL, IEC62133, CE, and UN38.3.
Outcome & Value
This high-performance, high-safety custom battery successfully won Starkey’s approval. Monthly shipments have stabilized at tens of thousands of units, making it a reliable power source for their hearing aid products. Even more gratifyingly, the successful cooperation with Starkey also opened doors for us to collaborate with other international well-known companies such as Jabil and Keytronic, enhancing our company’s market influence in the field of custom batteries.

Performance
1 Standard Test Conditions
Test should be conducted with new batteries within one month after shipment from our factory and the cells shall not be cycled more than five times before the test. Unless otherwise defined, test and measurement shall be done under temperature of 25±2℃ and relative humidity of 45~85%. The test results are not affected evidently by such conditions of temperature 15~30℃ or humidity 25~85%RH.5.2 Measuring Instrument or Apparatus.
